Julija Goyd (born 1979), Lithuanian artist of younger generation living in Berlin. In her photographic series „Figures“ (2017) she had
also been capturing her own body and multiplying it by using a long exposure. She analyzes how the motion produces a new view or vision, where time paused for just a few seconds changes
perception of reality and this way the view becomes almost transcendental.
Violeta Bubelytė (born 1956) is one of the most known Lithuanian photographers. Almost for 40 years, she has been using herself and her own body as the main object of her photographs. She doesn‘t aim to impersonate different character, on the contrary – every time she states herself very clearly. Appearing in every single shot, which she makes, and even multiplying herself in one photograph, she creates an impression of the infinitude of herself.
